Exceptional Chinoiserie dining table and chairs by Union National of New York. The dining table has a mahogany top with ebonized and hand painted decoration. It has a double pedestal base which is also ebonized with gold leaf and painted decoration, and bronze feet. There are two leaves and a custom made, thick, opaque black glass top (not shown). There are five side chairs and one arm chair. These classic, lyre back chairs are ebonized and feature hand painted scenes and gold leaf decoration. They have been recently reupholstered in a beautiful, embossed, lattice fabric. Table (as shown) 62" l., 42" w., 30" h. American, c. 1950's
