It is doubtful you will ever find another one of these. While the original function might not have been to hold bow ties, it seems like a likely guess based on the shape. That said, it could serve a variety of functions today other than holding bow ties. It would make a great jewelry box, desk accessory, etc. The wood compartments or drawers turn 360 degrees on a center axis.
