This drawing is a conceptual and compositional departure for Olexander. This vertical sequence of frames is inspired by the Italian movie, "Prima della Rivoluzione" and marks it's fiftieth anniversary this year. Cinematic movement is implied by reading the drawing from bottom to top. An elegantly suited man walks toward the camera as a stylish woman walks across the screen. A woman on a bicycle can also be seen in the background. Destinations differ, but in these drawn sequences, everyone is on the same page. Charcoal on paper. Framed, 95 1/2" h., 29 1/2" l.
