Stroupe Federal Style Mirror

"Mirrors make a room a reflection of your personality."  We always like to find original ads and documentation, especially when we're not familiar with a designer or maker.  This Federal style mirror was made by Stroupe of North Carolina.  The frame is gilt wood with fluted columns and acanthus leaf decoration.  The ebonized panel features a carved and gilded eagle and 13 stars.  It has its' original label and price.  In 1974 the mirror cost $88.00 U.S.  That would equate to about $450.00 U.S. today.  36.5" h., 24.5" w.  American, c. 1974  SOLD  

Ico Parisi for Fratelli Reguitti; Valet

Laurel Cork and Brass Lamp

Very large and unique MCM cork and brushed brass table lamp with 3-way socket by Laurel.  The fabric shade with cork banding is original and retains the original paper tag.  The lamp and shade are both in very good vintage condition with minor age appropriate wear.  45" h., 18" diam.  American, c. 1960's  SOLD

Marcel Breuer Cesca Style Set of 4 Stools
