Often asked, "Isn't it tough to part with these beautiful pieces?" Sometimes yes, like when they are as stunning as this pair of cabinets by Mastercraft. Mastercraft was founded in 1947 and was known for producing high quality furniture with bold, innovative designs which were rooted in classic forms. In 1974 Mastercraft was acquired by Baker Furniture. They continued with the tradition of making statement pieces and some of their most interesting and decorative furniture was made during this period. These brass and glass cabinets are great examples of some of their more stylish seventies work. Each cabinet has a top door that opens to a compartment with a lightly smoked, mirrored back, a spot light and three adjustable glass shelves. Each of the glass shelves has a plate rail and the glass on the sides and door is beveled. Below, the small door opens to a compartment with a mirrored back and base. The cabinets work nicely for display, but would also work well as a bar, bookcase, etc. Each cabinet is 86" h., 25.5" w., 15" d. American, c. 1970's
