Etienne Kohlmann for D.A.D.O.; Art Deco Table
Invest in the best. This very rare Art Deco table was designed by French architect and designer Etienne Kohlmann (1903-1988) for D.A.D.O. in 1928. The curvilinear, asymmetrical, lacquered table represents Art Deco design at its height and at its best. There's no doubt to attribution on this one. It retains its original signed brass tag, and we were able to pull up an exhibition image from 1928 featuring the table. Kohlmann pieces are rare to find, but there are a few examples on 1st dibs. https://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/tables/side-tables/etienne-kohlmann-modernist-side-table/id-f_6960673/

Gunnar and Lotte Bostlund Lamp
Perfect lighting. Did you ever see 'Interiors' the 1978 film by Woody Allen? If you didn't, it's definitely worth a watch for a number of reasons. If you did, you might agree that this subtle and sophisticated lamp would have worked very well on set, and Eve (Geraldine Page) would have approved for sure. It reminded me of the film as soon as I saw it. The tones and proportions on this matte glaze ceramic table lamp by Gunnar and Lotte Bostlund are just about perfect. The fiberglass shade is original. 24" h., 12" diam. c. 1960's SOLD
