Sheaf of Wheat Table

Erwin-Lambeth for John Stuart, Sofa

Replogle World Globe on Lucite Stand

I don't think we've ever described a globe as chic before, but it's a fitting adjective.  This is a sensational piece and unlike any we have seen.  LeRoy M. Tolman was the cartographer of the globe, and it is beautifully illustrated.  It swivels on a thick and heavy lucite stand.  The base is weighted and covered in black acrylic and gold metal.  It is very decorative and would be just as at home in a living room as in a study, den or bedroom.  Stand, 47" h., 24" w., 12.5" d.  Globe, 16" diam.  American, c. 1970's  $650.00 SOLD

Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard-Nielsen for France and Daverkosen, Modular Tables

Designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall for the Declaration Collection by Drexel, this beautiful credenza of rich, warm walnut has two long top drawers (one with dividers) and two sets of doors below.  On the right side, the doors open to a compartment with an adjustable shelf.  The left side has an adjustable shelf and two vertical dividers for larger platters, etc.  60" l., 20" d., 31" h.  American, c. 1960  SOLD

Fostoria Glass Chinoiserie Table Lamp

Is it too soon to bring this back?  No, I think it's a perfect time right now.  We need a little of Patrick Nagel's Eighties and his New Wave-Pop Art, and the wonderful individuality and creativity of the time.  Dancing at Area and Limelight in NYC, Kieth, Andy and Jean-Michel, Parachute, Matinique and Agnes b.  A time when 10,000 Maniacs were on the radio and not in the White House.  A time when we were enjoying the Style Council and not fearing Bannon and what was going to happen with the National Security Council.  Hope this takes you back to a happier day if only for a moment.  It's as far as I can gather, an advertising piece for Nagel's 1985 book of illustrations.  Best part is the pink neon collar!  37" h., 27" w., 2.5" d.  American, c. 1985  SOLD

John Widdicomb Sofa

Winter off-white!  This super stylish MCM sofa by John Widdicomb is long, luxurious and in almost mint vintage condition with its original upholstery.  It has a single, tufted seat cushion and three back and two arm cushions.  The sofa has been attributed to Robsjohn Gibbings and as you can see, it looks great with the Gibbings coffee table.  However, I have not found any documentation stating that he was the designer and the original label does not mention Gibbings.  The attached link shows the sofa reupholstered in another fabric, but in need of reupholstering again.  https://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/seating/sofas/john-widdicomb-sofa-upholstered-striped-sunbrella-fabric/id-f_670684/ The original cream upholstery suits this exceptional sofa perfectly and it has been newly, professionally cleaned.  American, c. 1960's  96.5" l., 36.5" d., 27" h.  SOLD
