Designed by noted 20th c. designer John Van Koert (see earlier posts for more information on designer) this server with separate display case was part of the Drexel Profile Collection. The design of the cabinet as well as the hardware is very sculptural, and the piece has a beautiful "profile". The base may be used on it's own as a server or chest or with the top as a bookcase or display cabinet. 34" l., 21" w., 72" h. American, c.1950's
