From Olexander's latest body of work and newly framed, the inspiration for this work comes from the film "Les Tricheurs". "Les Tricheurs" is a comedy of manners about a group of young Parisians enjoying the bohemian lifestyle in the late 1950's. They live between the left bank of Saint-Germain-des-Pres and right bank suburbs of Paris. Pascale Petit plays Mic (short for Michele). She's behind the wheel--tonight. Charcoal on paper.
