This piece was designed by Bert England for Johnson Furniture, and originally purchased at John Stuart in Manhattan. John Stuart was a high end furniture retailer with shops in New York and Grand Rapids. Just as modern today as when it was designed over fifty years ago, the credenza has eight drawers with patinated brass handles and a door which opens to a compartment with one adjustable shelf. Patinated brass trim on the legs and frame add a nice tailored finish. 72" l., 20" d., 31" h. American, c. 1960
