Free Play recalls a scene from
Les Quatre Cents Coups, a 1959 French debut drama by director Francois Truffaut. One of the defining films of the French New Wave. The film is about Antoine Doinel, a misunderstood adolescent in Paris who is thought by his parents and teachers to be a troublemaker. Here Antoine concentrates like a pinball wizard.
