Fine Italian Design. This handsome wood and woven rope valet was designed by Ico Parisi for Fratelli Reguitti. The valet has a tray for change, cufflinks, etc. and a bar for ties. Attached to the bar is a knob that pulls out for hanging hats. Below is a hanger for jackets and shirts. The woven seat lifts to reveal another storage compartment, great for shoe shine accessories, jewelry, love letters, etc. The piece is in very good vintage condition with slight wear to the finish and one wooden ball missing. As always, shopping in Hamilton has its advantages.
