Verner Panton Cone Chair
The first Cone Chair was designed by Verner Panton for the Kom-igen (Come Again) restaurant in the heart of the Langeso Park in Denmark. The chair consists of a cone-shaped metal frame which rotates at its base on a cross-shaped chromed metal foot. The cone and the removable cushion are upholstered in black vinyl. This iconic chair can be found in the permanent collections of many major museums including the Metropolitan in N.Y.C. The chair was originally designed in 1958.
