Halfred Tygesen Paintings
These three signed paintings by Tygesen all retain their original frames. All three are nicely painted scenes. The landscape is likely in Ontario. The original backings were removed so there is no information about the locations or subjects. Each of the paintings have been removed from their frames and had the glass cleaned and new acid free backings added.

This five drawer chest features a beautiful mahogany parquetry drop down door which opens to reveal two sliding drawers with sectioned interiors. Halfred Tygesen; "Stone Boats in the Baltic Sea"
In this pastel painting by Tygesen, he is depicting boats coming from the Danish Isles, Bornholm to Copenhagen, with granite stone. It has been recently re framed and matted. "American of Martinsville" Desk
This is one of the most beautiful desks we have had in the shop. The condition is pristine and the design is fantastic. American of Martinsville was founded in 1906. By the mid 20th c. they became known for their design leadership, high quality, and focus on breadth of production rather than depth.
