Mid-Century Cabinet
While we couldn't find a marking on this piece, it is similar in quality and style to some of the best Widdicomb and Tomlinson pieces we have had in the past. The cabinet has decorative banded inlay on the top and sides and patterned inlay on the doors. The doors open to a compartment with a divided drawer and adjustable shelf. The doors have brass hardware and back plates and the legs and base have decorative brass banding. It's a very nice compact size and would function beautifully as a bar, an entry hall piece or as a server in a dining room. 35" l., 19.5" d., 33" h. American, c. 1960's SOLD

Palm Springs Patio
Just finished the install for the June window at Michael Thomas. Inspiration came from California in a couple of ways. This chic patio set with 4 chairs newly reupholstered in white marine vinyl, a round dining table and an oval coffee table, all with Greek key design, felt like it should be near a pool in Palm Springs. The awning stripe was obviously inspired by Giorgio of Beverly Hills! Seven hours into cutting, taping and painting the canvas awnings and backdrop, the thought went through my head that it might have been easier to just have bought some nice yellow and white striped material. There is something about the hand made though... Never would have found that Giorgio yellow off the shelf anyway. SOLD
