"Union National Furniture Co." Dining Table and Chairs
Exceptional Chinoiserie dining table and chairs by Union National of New York. The dining table has a mahogany top with ebonized and hand painted decoration. It has a double pedestal base which is also ebonized with gold leaf and painted decoration, and bronze feet. There are two leaves and a custom made, thick, opaque black glass top (not shown). There are five side chairs and one arm chair. These classic, lyre back chairs are ebonized and feature hand painted scenes and gold leaf decoration. Chinoiserie Lacquered Cabinet
This very vibrant piece was custom made for Sibley's of New York in the early 1950's. It has two lower drawers and two doors above which open to three smaller drawers and a compartment with one shelf.
