"Mario Buatta for John Widdicomb Furniture Co." Chinoiserie Cabinet

I can't recall using the word "exquisite" to describe a piece that we have featured.  However, in this case, I can't think of a better adjective.  This exceptional cabinet was designed by legendary designer and decorator Mario Buatta for Widdicomb Furniture.  Over the past few decades, Mario Buatta's clients have included Barbara Walters, Malcolm Forbes, Henry Ford II, and a commission to redesign Blair House in Washington, D.C.
This cabinet is beautifully decorated and features a carved and gilded Greek key design, handpainted and embossed flora and fauna, faux bamboo carved legs and a faux painted marble top.  There is a custom-cut piece of glass for the top as well.  The two locking doors open to two drawers and an adjustable shelf.  This is a show stopper.  43" l., 21" w., 36" h.  American, c. 2nd half 20th c.  SOLD

Olexander Wlasenko; "Turn"

Mahogany Drop-Leaf Dining Table

Mohair Club Chair and Ottoman

Luxurious Art Deco style vintage club chair and ottoman.  This beautiful set has recently been reupholstered in a mushroom color pure mohair fabric.  Mohair is one of the oldest textile fabrics in use and is known for its  luster and sheen as well as it's durability.  It lasts a lifetime and gets even more beautiful as it ages.  The cushions on the chair and ottoman are part feather filled so in addition to being lovely to look at, both pieces are extremely comfortable.  Both pieces are trimmed in a silk bullion fringe.  Chair, 36" h. Tole Lamp
