Sometimes things are not quite what they appear. Sometimes they are more. This is one such case. This early Harold Town drawing was framed with the same style frame as the drawing posted last week. We thought it was a single drawing of a young male nude. When we took the drawing out of the frame looking for information, we discovered on the reverse, another wonderful sketch of a young woman on a sofa. The male nude is relatively monochromatic while the very energetic drawing of the woman has a lively mix of colors similar to the female nude posted last week. Framed 31" l., 24 1/2" w.
