Pair of "Haeger" Ceramic Lamps

Pair of lamps produced by Haeger Pottery.  Haeger was founded in 1871 near Chicago and is still producing finely crafted pieces today.  Each lamp is done in a drip glaze in varying tones of greens and blues.  The lamps are mounted on brushed brass bases and are being sold without shades.  32" h.  American, c. 1950's  SOLD

Italian Tole Table

Karl Springer Style Expanding Dining Table

Pair of Pagoda Hanging Lanterns



These are a real show stopper!  This substantial pair of pagoda style hanging lanterns have a definite 1950's Hollywood feel.  Each well constructed gilded lantern has three decorated metal sections from which many rows of crystal drops are suspended.  The tops of the lanterns have intricate pierced metal work decorated with celluloid flowers.  Each lantern has four candle sockets and a very long chain and cord with plug.  24" l., 12" diam.  American, c. 1950's SOLD

French Empire Mirror




Outstanding French Empire carved giltwood mirror.  This exceptional mirror features a Napoleonic Imperial Eagle, floral and acanthus decoration.  It retains it's original glass as well as the original Parisian maker's label.  There have been some restorations over the last nearly two hundred years, but they don't detract from the beauty of this truly regal piece.  36" h., 29" w.  French, early 19th c.  SOLD

"Tomlinson Furniture Co., Sophisticate Collection" Desk and Chair





Tomlinson Furniture was arguably the finest maker of it's day.  Their Sophisticate Collection was described in one of their ads as "a collection for those who seek to create individualized interiors that reflect their own personalities and their own confident appreciation of those exquisite things that make for a fuller life".  This desk and coordinating chair from the collection would aptly be described as exquisite things.  The desk has an elegant but informal design.  It has five drawers including a divided file drawer.  The rounded sides are tambour style and the finished back has two book shelves.  The coordinating chair has a wonderfully sleek tall back rest, gently tapered legs and an upholstered seat.  Desk, 55" l., 25" w., 29 1/2" h.  American, c. 1960's  SOLD

Bronze Hunt Scene





Handsome bronze depicting a Scottish hunt scene.  The beautifully composed scene shows a Scottish hunter in traditional garb who is holding the reigns of his horse and appears to be calling his hound.  The hound is busy examining the day's hunt which is slung over the saddle of the horse.  All the figures, the Scotsman, the horse, the hound and the stag are very finely detailed.  13" h., 15" l., 8" w.  European, mid-19th c.  SOLD

Elegant Hickory Chair Company arm chair upholstered in cream leather.  The frame is ebonized with fluted legs, casters and decorative tacks.  The leather shows signs of wear but this actually seems to suit the piece and adds to the character while toning down the formality.  American, c. 1950  SOLD

"Thomasville Furniture Co." Faux Bamboo Cabinet
