Cool and comfortable, Streamline Moderne aluminum chair by Good Form.  The seat and back rest are adjustable and the chair retains its original aqua leatherette upholstery.  We paused for a photo-op en route back from the states over the weekend.  Something just felt wright about the shot.  32" h., 26" w., 21" d.  American, c. 1940's  SOLD

Hostess Doily Stretcher

When everyday objects become art.......Wonderful graphics on this wood framed doily stretcher made by the Hostess Company of Chicago.  It would look great hanging on a wall as 'Utilitarian Art' and it comes with a history.  Judging from the holes on the main wood 'stretcher' area, it was well used.  That being said, if you would like to use if for function rather than form, I'm sure a lot more doilies could be stretched!  25" square.  American, c. 1920's  SOLD

Curtis Jere Fishing Sculpture

If you're really organized and already starting to think about holiday gifting for the lover of fishing in your life (and the dream fly fishing trip to The Seychelles isn't in the cards this year) this is it.  This beautifully detailed and very substantial mixed metal Curtis Jere wall sculpture depicts three boys fishing on a dock in front of a fishing shed.  The piece is signed and dated.  50" l., 18" h., 5" d.  American, c. 1972  SOLD
Condition:  Excellent vintage condition.

Pair of Spoon Back Chairs

I'm thinking bedroom or maybe library or foyer.  These Neoclassical style, spoon back slipper chairs have a lot of style, but they've been enjoyed over the last half century.  They show well and are structurally sound, but if you look very closely, you will see a few old age wrinkles.  While the original labels are gone, the quality is very good and reminiscent of some of the Tomlinson and Henredon pieces we have featured over the years.  35" h., 22" w., 20" d.  American, c. 1960's  SOLD
Condition:  Fair-good vintage condition with wear to the wood frame, minor caning loss and patination on the brass tacks and feet.

Pair of Club Chairs

This pair of chartreuse club chairs have the look, feel and patination of leather, but they're Naugahyde.  They have great classic lines and would add a nice pop of color to a den, living room, etc.  They have lived a life but have a lot more to live, and are super comfy.  Both chairs are in good vintage condition with minor cracking and minor color variation on the arm rests and wear to the wooden legs.  American, c. 1950's.  30" w., 30" d., 34" h.  SOLD

School Windows

Late for School/ It's in the Bag.  Due to some east coast hooky playing, our Back to School window installation was a little late this year.  So now they're just our 'School' windows.  The four Marcel Breuer Cesca style stools are surrounded by brown paper lunch bags with hand painted letters spelling out school courses.  We are making amends for our tardiness with a contest, and a chance to win a $500.00 Michael Thomas gift certificate.  There is a $500.00 MTA gift certificate in one of those lunch bags.  Check back tomorrow for all the details.
