Leather Wing Chair

Curtis Jere Abstract Sculpture

Large and very dramatic table sculpture by Curtis Jere.  The thick polished brass bands turn independently on a brass rod.  The rod sits in a marble base capped with a brass plate.  The brass plate is signed and dated.  American, 24" w., 17" d., 22" h.  c. 1987  SOLD

Chapman Frog Lamp

Jacob Jacobsen for Luxo; L-1 Task Lamps

Classic pair of polished chrome Luxo L-1 architect's/ desk lamps originally designed by Jacob Jacobsen in 1937.  The spring-balanced arm allows for complete freedom of movement and the ability to place light wherever it is needed.  The weighted bases are removable.  While they were originally designed as desk lamps, they would work very well as bedside lamps or beside a sofa.  Base is 10" diam., Arm extends up to 42" h.  American, c. 1950's  SOLD

Frederick Cooper Table Lamp

Frederick Cooper was a Chicago artist who began designing 'illuminated art' in 1923.  We have featured many of the company's beautiful table and floor lamps over the years.  Some of them have dated back to the forties.  This beauty is a 1960's model.  It has a turquoise ceramic body with a crackle finish and a patinated brass base, cap and neck.  The hard back burlap shade and milk glass diffuser are original.  40.5" h., 17" diam.  American, c. 1960's  SOLD

Condition:  Lamp is in very good vintage condition with patination on the brass and age appropriate wear.  Shade is in usable condition with no tears but some color variation to the back.
