This pastel painting by Tygesen shows a beautiful bucolic Danish scene with Beechwoods flanking a winding path. While this piece depicts a Danish landscape, it was painted in Canada. It has been recently re framed and matted. It is signed on the front in pastel. The original backing which was signed and dated with a description of the scene has been retained. 34" l., 31" h.
