With a nod to Saarinen and some of the finer Mid-Century Italian furniture we have seen, this chest by RWay is on our list of favorite pieces that have made their way into the shop. It was a custom made piece for the client who purchased it in the 1950's. She ordered a production piece, but with ivory colored drawer fronts. In our research we have not found any other pieces with contrasting drawer fronts by RWay.

The addition of the contrasting fronts serves to enhance the already sophisticated styling of the piece with its cool lines, sculptural hardware and brass legs. There is a matching tall chest available as well. 56" l., 18.5" d., 32" h. American, c. 1950's
