This playful and timely original lithograph was produced in 1978 for the New Orleans Contemporary Arts Center. The C. A. C. was founded two years earlier in 1976 by a passionate group of visual artists as a multi-disciplinary arts center. This Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) lithograph has a deep brown background with a gold metallic "carpet" in the foreground on which march a very organized group of cockroaches.
