Druce and Co. Ltd., Elbow Chair

Best in show.  'A most interesting piece of Lacquer work in Chinese Style' by Druce and  Co., Ltd. of Baker Street London.  This very elegant Chinoiserie style 'elbow' chair is finely crafted with hand painted decoration in gold.  It retains its original brass tag.  The Druce ad from 1910 features the chair and other pieces from the collection.  37" h., 22" w., 22" d.  English, c. 1910  SOLD
