Maitland Smith Book Lamp

A good book light is hard to find.  This handsome book lamp was designed by Maitland Smith and has a base made up of a bronze roman bust, quill and ink bottle atop four leather bound art books.  The embossed leather shade has a marbleized interior.  23" h., 16" w., 9" d.  American, c. 20th c.  SOLD 
Condition:  Excellent vintage condition with age appropriate wear.
