There was an instant attraction to these Classical head studies. It may have been because they reminded me of a favorite work,
Song of Love, by a favorite artist, Giorgio de Chirico. The late 19th/ early 20th c. drawings are not signed, but they are beautifully rendered and now beautifully framed. They have been given new life and a new modernity in their black shadow box frames. They are mounted on top of the mats to show their raw edges. 29.5" h., 24.5" w. framed. c. late 19th/ early 20th c.
